Inspiration - Alphonse Mucha

It will come as no surprise to anyone who loves the work of Alphonse Mucha that he is a huge influence for me (and many other artists!).  Mucha was a Czech artist who lived from 1860-1930 and is the most recognized artist of the Art Nouveau movement.  These are five of my all time favourites.

I adore Becky Dreistadt's (also known as Pocketowl) illustrations.  They're such a classic, Mary Blair style but kind of insane at the same time.  Love love.  Here are a few of my favourites.

Art Love: Pascal Campion

I stumbled across Pascal Campion's deviantart gallery last night and stayed up too late (there's always something to distract me at bedtime) looking through every single picture in it. He tries to do a sketch a day and my favourites are his pictures of his family. They are so warm and joyful, it just makes me want to draw nothing but my daughter and husband all day long. Also, it makes me want to get some serious practice time in, his sketches are better than most of my finished works! Here's a few of my favourites:
