Went for a walk a couple days ago, just before the sun went down. The birds were singing like crazy. Apparently it's year 7 in the 7 year tent caterpillar cycle, which must make the birds happy. And I have to tell you, one caterpillar is cute...swarming masses of them? Not so much.
