I started this a year ago for Adelaida who won my kiriban on deviantart. Then I got pregnant and sleepy. And then I took on a huge project that left no time for personal art. She's a lovely artist (and a lovely person!), you should check her out!
The faceless fairies are characters of hers that often have little heart lanterns, so I thought they would probably have fun trooping around a lantern festival.
