Save the World Sunday

So this week's greenness is that I'm no longer shaving my legs. Because I've decided to embrace my natural and earthy state.

Oh wait, that's not it, I'm just not shaving my legs while I'm showering. To conserve water I'm running a half inch or so into the tub and using that. This has two additional benefits: 1)I'm doing a better job and missing less sections of my leg (how embarrassing) 2)My feetsies get an nice soak and I give them a pumice rub.

Erm, too much info?

Hee hee!

(I laugh because I'm actually doing this too. Only in my case it started because the shower-tub drains very poorly, and I end up with a couple inches of water whether I like it or not.)

LOL Besides, the shower washes all the soap off your legs before you're done shaving. Standing water is MUUUUCH better ... except then you have to wash the tub ... but then that's better because it means you clean it every time you shave!

It's all good.

too funny guys! Hurray for Hanna and Nicole!

I also stopped shaving my legs over a month and a half ago, but it was to get them waxed. They were very icky and manly hairy leading up to it, but then nice and (mostly) hair free for the past 3 weeks! I can't wait for my next appointment coming up at the beginning of October!

And I also haven't shaved my arm pits for the last 2 weeks in preparation of waxing too... but I forgot to tell Joel that I was waxing them, and I've had him thinking (until yesterday) that I was just turning into a dirty hippie. Funny times. Perhaps a cruel joke to play on him...

PS. I highly recommend waxing to shaving, especially if you can find somewhere that waxes using plant materials (not chemicals). Like Aveda

haha at Jen. I've tried waxing my own legs once...didn't work very well...I need better wax I think. And I can't afford to have it done at the moment :(
